I saw the footage and that was one of the most pathetic slaps I have ever seen. It just seems like his dad is a bureacratic sissy and is nationally embarassing his son just so he can get some money.

The characters in Disney play with the kids constantly..... mess up the hair, trick them, etc.... this was by NO MEANS a punch to the kid.....
F'ing ridicluous and pathetic scam by the kid and the father.

This father is an idiot, it is obvious that tigger was reaching round an accidentally hit the kid on the face. Those characters have their peripheral vision obstructed by the head of the costume. After the incident you see tigger shake the kids hand and pat him on the back. Maybe the dad should have had his kid play football instead of joining the ballet class. It would have toughened him up and he would have been able to withstand the pummeling tigger gave him As for the dad, he is looking for an easy buck and next year ticket prices will be up by a dollar.

This is so stupid.. I really didn't think this happened like they say it did... if I saw his head on the video when the 'smack' happened. And what about the reactions of the teen, tigger, and the family after the 'smack'? We don't see it. And going to the hospital for a neck pain? Oh my. If he was hit, there would be a bruise or something. He said the pain was gone because of the medicine, I don't believe the family. This was an accident, I'm on Tiggers side.

There shouldn't have been any slap at all. Also the character tried to twist the kid's arm. At the very least, he should be fired. There are rules about how these characters are supposed to act. This jerk violated the rules. If he doesn't like teens, he took the wrong job.

You have to look at the larger issue.
What kind of society allows it's youth to be dressed up as a cartoon character in order for that youth to become a contributing member to society?
I think all theme parks that promote this lifestyle should be banned.
