Once you get him out, go where Jack is on that little hut thing, you can hop on another little hut thingy when you go up the stairs, no matter what Josh can't blow you up when you're on that. Then just keep shooting him when he turns his back, get him in the head and shoot away.

| This boss is a pain, however there is a really simple way to beat him. |
| When the level starts, follow Jack into the building and go up the stairs. |
| Jack will stay here but you will be able to climb on to the broken roof. |
| Do so and now you can avoid Pig Josh's explosions. He is wearing a belt of |
| dynamite. Stay up here through the whole boss fight and wait for Josh to |
| walk out into the open. Shoot him in the back and this will stun him. Use |
| this chance to shoot him as much as you can. If he sees you, he will run |
| into the building with Jack but the explosion won't hit you. Repeat. When |
| Pig Josh is defeated the level ends.

either throw dynamite at him to stun him,then quickly switch weapons to a gun and keep shooting him while he is stunned and just keep repeating till you kill him.or you can stun him by shooting him from behind and then keep on shooting him to drain his health.these are the only two ways i know.hope it helps,it took me a while to defeat him as well.
