Need actual industy standards on heel heights, to say if 1 7/8 qualifies as a two inch heel.

This is silly. A 2" heel is 2" high... the clue's in the name. SURELY???

I would think it varies widely by manufacturer of the shoe. Your best bet would be to measure a sample of the vendors shoes and get the average for 2" heels.
