In christianity, there's the original sin that every human has ... if one does not believe that Jesus is the son of god (like me for example) he/she would not be saved and go to hell.

It is meaningless religious jargon. What about all the good living Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, Moslems - are they all going to hell? Oh no, the Moslems are going to Paradise and the Christians aren't. It is all meaningless twaddle. The only life you have is the one here and now.

Saved simply means--saved from eternal
death. Your spirit will experience eternal death
in hell if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your
Saviour.
