First wear clean clothes with no holes. If you're interviewing for a professional position dress professionally. No loud ties or short skirts.
The weirdest question I ever got was what are your most and least favorite cleaning chores. I think I said laundry and vacuuming and I didn't get the job, whatever that means.
I think the main thing is to be polite, arrive on time, answer directly. If it's a professional job they may ask questions about "What would you do in this situation?" Just stay calm and think it through. Use standard English as much as possible.
Good luck. I'm sure you'll get more responses. If you say what kind of job you're applying for, it may help people give more specific answers.

If you have unusual piercings (ex. in the nose, lip, tongue, any where on the face, any other place besides the earlobes), make sure they are off of you face. Tattoos... must be covered. A clean body says a lot about a person so wash!!! Wear business attire. Nothing trashy or dirty. Do not, I repeat Do Not, over-accessorize with jewelry. Too much of the bling-bling can hurt you chances at a new career or job. Don't ask about pay, usually some employers tell an average salary. Bring something to write with (a black pen prefered). Have your information prepare!!! As long as you are neat, tidy, and prepared. You interview will go smoothly!!!
Good Luck!

bring a pen with you, in case they want you to fill out any paperwork. Do not use, Uh, and so, and Uh, when you talk to them. They will probably ask you about your background, ever been in trouble with the law. Ask you why you want to work here maybe. Just relax.....I am sure you are nervous, so try not to figit, while there, just smile, and answer the questions short and sweet, if you have worked somewhere else, don't dog the old boss or anything, just say you were looking for something better.....Good Luck to ya', just relax, take a deep breath, and you'll do fine......

They will probably note how clean and well dressed you are. They will ask why you want the job. What makes you feel you are the one for the job. Some will ask you what wages you expect to earn. Do not ask them what you will earn>>> .Smile now and then, feel free to talk but, don't over do it. Good Luck.
