how do i find the best union for care assistants working in the private sector?

try unison, i've been with them for years and they're very helpful. they do deal with the public sector mainly but i've worked in both and they've been fine.

there's a membership form on their website.

Siptu claims to be the union for ALL workers.
It's webite said that includes care assistants in the private secotor. It is a bit general though so you may want to try something like UNISON (see bleow)
