The video showed the kid with his arm around Tigger. Tigger turned and did an arm lock and a fake punch to the jaw. Looked like he was just goofing around, and most people would have thought it was a humorous photo op. What 13 year old kid is going to enjoy having his picture taken with Tigger? I think the guy in the suit was just trying to have a little fun and the family is looking for a cash settlement to pay for their vacation.
Disney should post a sign saying that costumed charactors will no longer be available for photos due to liability issues. Thank you Monaco family.

It was definitely blown out of proportion. First of all, the guy's from New Hampshire - so am I - he's crazy. His son that got hit had to be at least 17. I saw the footage this morning. He came into the picture and to me it looks like Tigger just reached around to push him off of him or out of the way. I imagine the kid was making smart *** remarks about being in a picture with Tigger, because the younger kids in the family were already posing with him, so when the kid finally walked over to get in the picture and he tried to put his arm around Tigger, Tigger tried to push him away. It looked like he tried to push the kid away and his hand slipped upward toward the kid's head because the kid wouldn't move. The kid is a frickin' teenager, probably almost 18. There's no way Tigger's padded paw hurt that kid. He definitely didn't take an obvious swing, or anything. It's funny, 'cause on tape they have the dad talking to his son saying, "did it hurt?!" And the kid pauses as if he knows it didn't hurt and would feel like a pansy on TV saying "yeah, it hurt." So he says, "well, I could feel it even though he had a padded paw." The kid knows his dad's blowing things out of proportion. The dad's obviously just trying to get in the news and get some money from the Company. It's pathetic.

I don't know, but poor Tigger's going to get kicked out of Disney. If you remember right, he grabbed a little girl's breast a few years ago. I personally think the guy couldn't see what he was doing with that ginormous costume. Or maybe he wailed on the kid. I just think people are so sue happy the family is hoping their find riches by drawing all this attention to Tigger Gate 2007.

Over blown...It looked to me like they were playing...Plus from the angle that the arm was taking if Tigger was meaning to strike the child then there would have been more of a reaction.

This, as well as many other things are blown out of proportion. Put yourself in thee costumes, with limited peripheral vision, and perform normally. The kid, from what I saw, was not distraught after the incident. Just another person trying to grab either the limelight for a few minutes or a few bucks. What a shame..

According to the video, it looks like Tigger popped him one. I am the Easter Bunny every year and it's really hard to see with those giant heads on. If Tigger did belt him, the kid probably deserved it. didn't he look like a little smart a**?

I think that Tigger didn't mean to actually hit the kid....it looked like he went to turn and accidentally clocked the kid...truthfully it doesn't even look like the kid got hit all that hard anyways...i think someone is just a little lawsuit happy and wants to get **** handed to them for nothing.

I watched the video and it looked like an accident to me. Interestly enough is in the video the kid looks like a total punk wannabe but when the national news started interviewing him he was dressed totally different. What's really funny is all the 13 year old wants is Tigger to come out and apologize to him. WTF? Smells like an oppurtunity to make some cash and get some free trips.....
