I need a guitarist, Bass Guitar player, and Drumer. Who would want to do the Christian Band thing
They need to be in highschool or middle school and live near me

Type up flyers and hand them out at the local schools and churches. Hold auditions and interviews and there you have your band.

You go to the local free paper. The one that's sitting in front of Chinese resteraunts or on the College campus that you can pick up and read for free. And then you call and put an ad in it. Most musicains look in these papers for bands and it usually only costs you 7-10 dollars for an ad. That's how adult musicians usually do it. Good luck finding good musicians in middle school, but there are plenty in highschool but I'm not sure if they get these papers that young.

Do you have a Church Newspaper? Anything and everything you can to advertise would be good.
It is always hardest to get started and some people will not work out in the band. Just keep advertising until you get a good solid band together and go for it

Post adds in local music stores (bulletin board, stuff like that). Also, go to local schools and talk to the band directors, they may have some excellent advice. Another place to check might be a local entertainment newspaper.

Put a sign up in your school saying your starting a you tube contest and the winner gets to be in the band. Contests are a sure way to get people interested.

Check out your Churches youth group and other youth groups in the area and find out if any have youth praise bands (ours does) find ones that do and go hear then and then talk to the members too see if any want to join band.
