That they will soon nerf Warlocks in the next patch as they are currently considered overpowered....is this true and has anyone else heard this??

They're constantly making adjustments to game balance, especially when they release new content. Warlocks, hunters, and shaman are the biggest targets for nerf requests.
They did recently nerf fear a bit, though I've not noticed a significant reduction in it. At the same time, the new 41-pt talents can be *brutal* - to the point where there was a warlock in close second on the damage meters in my raid last night, a spot normally reserved for rogues and mages.
All told, I wouldn't be too surprised to see them wielding the nerf-bat to a number of classes.

Everything gets nerfed in the game. Blizzard is one big nerfing machine. I've played for over a year now, and there has always been something brought down in value, weakened, toughened, etc.
It's very possible....however, just for reassurance, keep a close eye on what the website says about the next patch.
I was very dissappointed with how they weakened warriors, but overpowered hunters. A hunter can kill my priest in 2-3 seconds now, and all my warrior is at this point is a rock that can take a lot of damage without dealing much of it.

i play a lvl 22 warlock and hes really not that powerful i always lose in duels

that is in no way true. ever try and kill a good hunter and their lvl 60 pet? good luck to the warlock they'll need it
