B.Based on today's technology, is it possible to connect gene expression to the expression of an emotion like anger? Why or why not? Do you think this will be possible in the future?

Based on today's technology we can tell you what sorts of genes are upregulated or downregulated (incresed or decreased in terms of expression) in response to anger, but we lack the ability to even begin to guess which of these might be causal. Emotions are a complex response, but there is definitely some biology involved. As such, it could be potentially possible to develop an understanding of what genes contribute to anger as an emotion, but such a discovery would be very far off in the future.
