Electricity in Mexico is the same as in the US. If you are American you wont need any kind of adapter. If you are from Europe, you will.

Actually most of Mexico's power is produced by oil burning plants but they are switching to natural gas in many places.

Just bring a 3-2 prong adaptor since many outlets only have two. No ground!

Do you mean what is the SOURCE of the electric power? If so, it is likely to be nuclear as mexico uses nuclear power plants in many places.
