It would be more of an irony if the bus companies slogan is "we get you through traffic on time!"....and actually being slower

ummm... you may want to check the definition of ironic. It is a 'fact' that buses have more difficulty getting through a busy town than cars do, for very obvious reasons.

You should see the buses around here (Minneapolis), they just dart in between cars and basically rule the traffic. It's quite impressive!
