I want to transfer data from my mobile to the pc through usb....when I connect the cable it says new hardware found...I dont know from where to install the driver cause I am using windowsxp sp2.plz help.

Windows XP has inbuilt usb drivers and are installed directly. You may also install it through website for which you must the the details of the motherboard. Google search will provide the required site.

the USB driver already installed the reason is computer prompting you that new device has been attached. so go to your mobile web-site and download the driver. or just install it from CD or when it is prompting your to give appropriate driver select it. Good luck.

What is needs is a software driver designed to tell it how to talk to the mobile device (assuming a phone). Go to the website of the device's manufacturer and they will have the software (and driver) available there.
