this happened to me in school too, its just a trait girls have. dont get roped into being nasty about people, it only comes back to bite you in the *** when you're older. just get on and be nice to everyone, let them play their games and you'll be better off for it as you mature. you dont want to look back with regret for being a horrible person.
email me if you want to talk, or ask anymore questions! xxx

Well it is fair for her to make new friends and be rude like that to you behind your back, you might need to tell her how you feel and that you don't appreciate the way she is treating you , and that if she does not want to be friends with you then she should have told you that in the first place. She is obviously not a very good friend and maybe you should be friend with the other person that wants to be friends with you.

hey jodie...
i get this alll the time. and here is what to do.
if u see her as ur best friend then brilliant, she will know that and im sure she is very happy. i think to have one person as ur "best friend" always ends in tears, open ur invatations, by this i mean, dont restrict urself to one person. if she has another best friend that doesnt mean u arent her best friend too, and so this other girl wants tobe ur best friend, then sure, dont hesitate take it from a girl weith experience, having more than one best friend makes u more secure and happy, good luck
xx

grow up! do you need a best friend?? just be your own person and be friends with everyone.
when I was at school everyone wanted to be best friends with the one girl who didnt copy any one or follow any one she was 100% her own person thats how you should be.
When you get older you will realise that you can have many best friends not just the one at a time.

Make you a need friend and move on from the other girl. She is probably jealous for some reason. You don' t need that. You 're young you will have lots of new friends.

perhaps your friend just found someone else new and she is caught up in this friendship. maybe she wants more than one best friend. but the bottom line is, if you think that you are getting the short end of the stick, then take your friendship somewhere else, but dont have any hard feelings towards her.

aww everyone has friends like this at some point, people grow out of the whole best friends thing anyway, ive always belived its better to have lots of friends than one best friend, then you always have someone.

Leave her alone for a while. There is a chance you are growing apart. If she really wants to be friends she will come back to you. She probaly wants some space.

If that friend is mean enough to go behind your back, then screw her. if the new girl is nice, get to know her.
or you could ask that sort of ex-friend what the hells her problem and get it sorted out.
