I would say that you are experiencing a situation where someone (or a group of people) that you normally consider friendly and trustworthy has betrayed that trust, or you fear that they will.

I've had dreams of a dog attacking me, so significantly that they really rattled me throughout the next couple days.
I agree with another answer here: fear of or actual betrayal.
Also a fear of or actual death omen, mainly large black dogs.
It could also be a fear of something out of your control that might go wrong suddenly, and that you're on edge about.

It might mean you are intimidated or fearful of a pet attack. has your pet or another been aggressive towards you?
or it could be interpreted as someone you have cared for rebelling against you-
it could mean that, or it could mean that you have treated an animal bad (or a person whom the pet represents)and you deserve to be attacked by them.

fear from small things which you can't really control
OR
fear from little soft issues which may turn violent
OR
fear from issues which are good for others while the same issues turn hard for me

Maybe this means you should buy some pepper spray to
spray at it in case it really happens.
