Let me start off by saying that I have been pregnant before. My boyfriend and I had sex quite a few times while I was ovulating. My period is due today...and shows no signs of coming. I am showing pregnancy symptoms (which I know could be PMS), which are fuller, & really sore breasts, my lower back is KILLING me. Sleeping at night is horrible. Also, everytime that I eat..I get severe heartburn and sick to my stomach. I have taken a couple pregnancy tests..and they both have come back negative. But I know my body...and I know what it is telling me. Is it too early to test? If I am pregnant...I would be..4 weeks as of last Friday. Please let me know what you think...is it too early for me to test?

Its probably too early for the test to show up positive. I took two negative pregnancy tests before my third one showed up positive. I just knew I was pregnant. So wait a another week or two and take another one.

it may be a little too early for the at-home test to pick up on the hormone level. If you haven't started in 5 days then I would take one and if it still comes up negative, then make an appt with a doc to have a blood test done, they are much more sensitive to the HCG level

If your period is due now I would wait about 7days. After that, if your period still doesn't come then you should go to your OBGYN and take their pregnancy test because your HPT could be low and when that happens it's hard to see if you are pregnant when you take the home pregnancy tests. So don't stress it too much. Good luck

It may be to early for the at home pregnancy test to show. I would wait another week and if your period still has'nt come try another test. If you really wanted to find out right now, you could go and have preg. test at the doctors.

It could be an ectopic pregnancy.
I would take another test...it's not too early. If you think you're having physical symptoms, the hormone is in your system.
Just use first morning urine regardless, even if the test says you can use it any time of the day.

Could be too early. I was six weeks pregnant before the test came back positive.

My guess is that it is too early to tell. Wait a week and try again. Sometimes the HCG is there but not detectable yet. When you test again use first morning urine as it will have the highest concentration of HCG.

Keep in mind that one doesn't typically get the pregnancy symptoms until about a month or so, especially morning sickness.
I was fooled a few times myself, despite what I thought my body was telling me.

i took 8 pregnancy tests 4 urine tests they all came out negativee i was already 21/2-3 months pregnant. my friend was 9 months pregnant and tests were still coming out negative. its good you know your body. go ahead and test i know first responce is aparently a good one congrats

its not too early to test - i tested 4 days before my period
your body isnt producing enough hormone to be detected in your urine
rather go for a blood test thro your dr
its more conclusive
