I use a big bank for savings, but have been hearing good things about ING Direct. I can get a much better rate on savings accounts with them. Are they easy to work with? Reputable? Easy to bank online with? Easy to deposit/transfer/withdraw money?

I am not going to move the money to other types of funds, so please limit your answer to savings account suggestions, please. Thanks!

I bank online with Wells Fargo, but keep savings accounts with ING Direct to take advantage of much higher interest rates. I've used ING Direct for years for an account which I use to pay property tax twice a year.

ING Direct is an international company with a good reputation and a good track record. They make it easy to set up accounts, and it's easy to set up one-time or automatic periodic transfers to or from the accounts. However, you do have to be careful to allow enough time for the transfers to take place - usually a few days.

I had an ING account a couple of years ago. They are a great idea if you don't need immediate access to your money. (It takes a few days to transfer to your checking account). The rate is phenomenal and the service is equally as good. I would recommend them.
