I would say piano. It's easier to learn to play and it's more versatile. Violin music is mostly classical but you can find piano music in any genre.

Indeed , piano is better and it will make learning to play other instruments easier. Also, it's not very hard, unlike learning to play the violin, which is very hard. It needs a lot of patience and dedication, but I think it's worth it. I love the violin, it's the most beautiful sound in my opinion :) good luck!

If you want to learn classical, then it is easier to find fine piano instructors. If you want to entertain at parties, piano is usually preferred. Consider the cost and space in your house too though.
Either way, it's all really up to what you prefer.

well piano is probably an easier instrument to start out with, but in the end, you should choose the instrument that you see yourself enjoying to play.

piano cuz my sisters friend plays the violin and she said it's harder to play than a piano + the piano is simpler =)

Guitar is better & easiler.Mian thing is its used in all types of songs.Also you can find some easy to follow books on the subject.
