I have a wife (11years) and three kids, house, good job and sometimes I sit and think about just getting up, "going to get a loaf of bread" and starting over. I would never really do it but the thought is appealing sometimes. Does anyone else ever think about this?

i smiled when i read your question,and i told myself how many persons think the same way.so my dear a million,your not the only one.i did many times ,but didnt cause my life was chained with others ,kids and i couldnt be free emotionally from them which its important and normal.i waited them to grow up,and after all those years i thought again and i did this step.the oldest have 24,so she already start her life.......think how and what to do if there is a way to repare some damage go ahead,if no try to do what u want but dont do anything to hurt kids what r them fault in all that/ and if it happens to u few time dont worry ,u may need a little change do it and come back if u still feel the same search for the reason.we live one time my dear.

I think we all do. Unfortunately you have a responsibilty with your children, first and foremost. Maybe you need some time to get away and rediscover yourself without hurting your family and try to find what is missing that will make you happy again. Sit down with your wife and talk it out, maybe she can help you through this.

I understand how you feel. many stay trap and unhappy becoz of kids and fear of what others think of them. and also out of guilt. so my dear, you got to really find the passion but trust me when you find the spark to love again and the right woman come along , it will help you decide and choose what you will do then.

everyday, guys need adventure and the married life gets boring sometimes, when i feel like this i catch a plane to vegas for a weekend act crazy and come back home to my wife.
