Go to Acadia National Park in Maine. Great hiking, beautiful scenery, and Jordon Pond House has the best Lobster Bisque.

You should definitely visit Monterey, California. When you go you have to eat at Compagnos, it's a little sub shop that makes the BEST sandwiches. They also have an extensive assortment of beverages there also. I hope you go, you won't be disappointed!

Put Seattle on your list. It is very backpacker friendly and there is great hiking in the area.

you have to go to moab utah to the arches national park. very small town very strange people but the sites are breathtaking. to hike in the park is amazing
