prenancy test?

So i just took a first response pregnancy test couple minutes ago, and it came up negative. I am not late for my period. Im not on the pill, i had two irregualur periods one on nov 27th for 3 days and then one again on dec 14th heavy for 5. I was ovulating on the 28thish, and was having sex those days around it. My breasts and nipples have been sore for about 11 days now, and my lower back has been hurting for 3 days now. My period should be coming some time this week, i get it usually every 28 day. Do you think i took the test to early, or am i just striaght up not pregnant?

Sounds like you took the test too early, wait until the exact day your period is due or after, to take the test. If it comes up negative then, then you're probably not pregnant. If your periods are irregular, you might wanna test like once a week or so, or just go to the doctor and get a blood test which can tell a lot sooner. Hope this helps.

Usually those tests are right on the money and many primary care doctors use them. Wait unil your next period date if it don't come along I would see your primary care physician to get more exstensive testing. Because if you are not pregnant they need to get you somewhere and find out what is wrong. But if your breasts are getting hard and nipples sore thats a good sign take it from a father of 2. With my second it took a year for her to come along and thats how my wife then told me! I felt her breasts aand they were definately firm or what i call hard and i was a happy camper!

My opinion is you took the test too early. There is no way of us telling you for def whether you are preg or not we can only give our opinions and advice.

The best thing to do is to wait until about a week after you have missed your period. The pregnancy hormones are more detectable then so you will have a better chance of getting a more accurate result. Good luck x

You're just wasting money to take a test before you are actually late-
I would wait until you are late at least a week before testing again.

It sounds like your pre period symptoms--but there is a possibility you can be pregnant.

if you take another test & get a negative, I would call the doc for a blood test just to be sure.

Sometimes the human mind can make your body.. act as if it is pregnant.. i was watching this amazing story on the womans channel.. and it said how woman who are'nt pregnant can actually make themselves believe they are by having all the systoms you would usually get in your first trimister.. Although it sounds like you have a great chance at being pregnant.. But i dont think you really are.. I think its just your mind telling your body that your pregnant.. and your body.. believeing it.. as far fetched as this may sound.. its actually very true..

You can ordinarily use a pregnant scan, as quickly as you've got a neglected interval. If you've got abnormal intervals, they are saying do a being pregnant scan 19 days after the 'final time' you had intercourse. If you're concerned, pass and spot your general practitioner, they may be able to do a blood scan to foretell early. Good good fortune!!!!

Take another test in a week. That will be more accurate. If you are still worried, take another one a week later. And so on....
