Knowledge is knowing something is fact, belief is what you believe that you don't know is true.

Yes, for example, I KNOW that there's a desk in front of me right now. I can see it, touch it, and smell it (if I wanted to).
I believe there is staraving people in Ethiopia. I've never seen one in person. I've never touched one. I've only seen one on TV and i've also seen Harry Potter fly around on a broomstick.
However I belive because there is good evidence that it is really a problem there.
Might I toss another one in here, FAITH. I have faith that there is O2 in my enviorment. People I know and love taught me that. I believe in O2 the same way I believe in God. I can not hear it, I can't taste it, I can't smell it, I can't touch it, but I know if it weren't there, i'd die - same situation with God.
