“Looking back, I have this regret, that too often when I loved, I did not say so.” ~ David Gayson
“You are a slave to what you do say, a master of what you don't say.” ~ Unknown Author
I was looking for a quote, but could not find it yet. It says something like; To feel something and not say it is a bad as saying something and not feeling it... First, you can't lose something that you never had- Second, It's nice to hear those words "I LOVE YOU" but fact remains... If someone loves you or you they- You just know it! One does not have to inscribe it in gold or tattto it on ones arm. Heres a quote that I find most provocative on this subject;
“The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.”

You should muster all the courage in the world and tell that person in no uncertain terms how much you care. If you miss this oportunity you will wonder your entire life how things would have been different. I loved someone once but never had the guts to accept enen when I was asked for the fear of the humiliation. Several years later I found that that person was in fact interested in me a lot but at the time we both were married to different people.

What the hell are you waiting for and why are you here on yahoo answers, when you know that if you love somebody you say it to them. Now go and stop being stupid or do you want to lose her.

By all means tell her that you love her. Even if you have been showing her your love, she still wants/needs to hear it from you. What have you got to lose...if not gain your true love.

!0 years back it happened to me. By not telling her, I think you have already lost her irretrievably.
You deserve to lose her because you were afraid of losing her.... but nothing to worry... if your love is true, the loss will transform you for the better.

There is only one thing more painful than unrequited love, and that is the one that got away. Don't let her go without expressing your true feelings. Embarrassment quickly fades, loneliness can last a lifetime.

the best experience of this life is to love someone truly, madly and deeply. if you love someone, express it. vaulting this feeling and experience in the heart and mind fetches nothing but pain and ultimately dejection. believe me!
go and tell her how much you love her. i told this girl i love her, i felt happy that i told her. she did not accept my feeling at all. in spite of this fact, what matters to me is the true experience of loving someone in this lifetime. i am glad i experienced it. and she is still the one i run too, the only one i long for. i wish and pray to keep my feeling for her precious and make it last a lifetime.

Don't overthink it. Why put yourself through the agony of the fear of rejection? Nike dude, Just do it.
If the response isn't good, at least you'll know, you'll deal with it and you'll learn and grow. No regrets.
Peace
