You may have differing interpretations/expectations of Love. Some people say it easier, quicker, more often than others but it's no less sincere. Whilst it might seem a little quick after only a week, maybe he means it more as a general term of affection. If you're beginning to feel smothered, slow things down a little and maybe see a little less of him. You have as much time together as you choose, so why rush?

ahhhhh, he's a romantic, give him some time. This is normal, mind you if you don't feel the same way you should probably figure it out as soon as possible. Then again, there is the other extreme, he could be possessive and obsessive. Take a little time to figure it out. If you start to feel really uncomfortable, leave. It's not fair to either of you to stay if your not feeling the same things.

Sounds like he may be a little insecure...which is something that you can help him with. If YOU really care for him and look forward to spending some if not all of your future with him, then reassure him that you are there, and you are sticking around for a while. Then maybe he will back off a little bit. However, you do not want to push him away.

If you have only known the boy for a week and a half, you might not want to get to close, to soon, for it may be risky. Appreciate the love, but don't let things go too fast, for you could get hurt. Take a step back, and get to know him, take things slow, the world isn't ending!!!

I'm really not sure but you know some peole do fall in love at the first sight. but don't really get your head into it he may say that now but later on in the relationship he won't be saying it at all. Trust me on that one i've been with a guy for 9 months and in the beginning it was all of the I love You and all of that stuff but now i barley hear it. So just let him say that just don't get your head into it so much

Tell him to cool off. The guy clearly thinks love is just a word you use when you're with someone, rather than it really meaning anything. He's probably infatuated with you, all excited and all, which he is mistaking for love. Silly boy.

Tell him to slow down 9 days is to short of a time to rush the mushy stuff, tell him to back off a bit. or the whole thing is going to end sooner than later.
