The only way to enter heaven is by accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for that life full of sins. He exchanges his righteousness for our sinfulness when we except that gift.

I don't know that heaven and hell are actuall places, but ways of describing and teaching that there are consequences to our actions, that good actions produce more favourable circumstances and less suffering here on earth, and perhaps in the after life also.

I don't think many people live perfect lives where there are no actions which were not perfect, hence sinful. Actions are sometimes tainted by emotions and thoughts that are impure, before they even take place. There are some saints of different traditions who have actully achieved this. Even Jesus had a pissed off moment where he toppled tables when people were using the temple as a market. Does that make him go to hell. NOOOOO! Jesus did that to show his displeasure, to teach that it was not appropriate, so even though it seemed like a bad action, the intent (the most important thing) was to teach that God would not have liked that, and that it was not the right place for a market. Whether ot not you are Christian, you can relate to the story. Krishna, also stole butter. Why did he steal the butter? I can't recall.

Blessings,
Rani

If you read the bible there are so many things that are considered sins. It also states that evil people are born evil. I don't believe in Heaven. Even if I am a perfect person if I don't believe, I don't go. I think a lot of people do believe, I think a lot more HOPE that there is, and they HOPE that they are going to go to Heaven, rather than Hell. I don't believe in sin, I believe there is the good and kind way of living and the evil and harsh way. I choose the good and kind, and hope that it makes my life good. It's great that we all can feel different about it, I just wish we could all accept that it's ok for it to be that way.

Heaven? A concept invented by Emperor Constantine about 1700 years ago to give the poor working class people a belief that a greater life exists for them after they leave this earth. A concept further exploited by the catholic church to control the population up to and including the present day.
Other religions throughout history have used this belief to either control the population to go to war for them for them, with the belief that if they are killed they will go to this heaven. Or for general population control, period.
It's 2007 now. Time to start living in the real world.

If you are a Christian, you know that we have all sinned. And, since we are human, God understands that. There is one perfect person. The challenge is, be truly remorseful and try not to continue sinning. If you want to go more in depth, consult a pastor and I'm sure he would be more than happy to speak with you! I believe in Heaven, but there are ways to get there. According to the Bible, read what the greatest sin of all is, and you may be surprised.

Our life is only full of sin if we let it be so. All of us are born with sin becuse of Adam and Eve. Our role in life is to cast away sin, follow in the footsteps of God. No, we will not be perfect but God will know if you are trying hard. Follow the Ten Commandments, always go out o your way to help others, no matter if they are the same religion as you, after all, we are all supposed to be Brothers and Sisters in this life. We all share the same world, millions share the same country, so it is up to us to all get on with each other.
I know that is quite impossible, but if we show that we are trying hard, asking for forgiveness when we know we should and NOT repeating that same sin, then we are on the right road to God

Nothing dies of from this universe, the things including living things just change into a different type of matter and energy. What we leave back on Earth in the form of our relatives, friends, environment and everyone retains some part of ours, which continue to carry our body and psychology. The good and bad situations felt by our progeny and the people associated with us, place our souls in the feeling of bliss(heaven) or the feeling of remorse(hell).
As a human being indulges in good and bad during a life time, he/she is bound to reap the fruits of both and will be done to justice by the all mighty compassionate God. He will experience the enlightenment, love and cheerfulness of heaven for the good deeds and remorse for the bad. This proportionate grant of fruits as per his/her actions during a life time will free the soul to start afresh and pure.

We see hell as a dark, hot, scary place, and heaven as the cloudy dream land we have come accustomed to see through time. What I think hell is the worst time in your life relived over and over again, you being only an observer of all of your sins played over in slow motion loop. Heaven is the best time in your life where all your favorite memories play in slow motion loop. You only get to heaven or hell when you have lived all your lives...Everyone has 12 lives (12 months) I was born in May (month 5 or my fifth life... my friend in January or her first life... Jesus was born in December or his last life.. get it?)
Any ways we get through all our lives then we get asked on what the leason was and what we learned if we have lived all lives with a good hearts and thoughtful minds and actually learned something we will go to heaven... BUT if we learned nothing, did nothing and only caused pain and heart ache through all the lives then ...well you can figure out the rest... but thats not to far fetched..is it? Just anither opinion..

Heaven and hell concept according to me have been created by men only.It is primarily to keep in check your conduct during your life time.According to the Hindu dharma, when you die, your soul is liberated.there is nothing after that. By telling people that you go to hell by sinning, people tend to think twice before committing a sin.thereby at least out of fear, they realise they are doing something wrong and hence stop it.other than that i don't think there is anything called as heaven and hell. obviously by doing good while you live, you get peace and satisfaction which is what is heaven according to me.

It's more than possible. Everyone sins. The thing that is important is the relationship with God, and trying to live like He wants you to. If the requirement for Heaven was to be sinless, nobody would make it. Fortunately, God understands this.
