Go to the post office, and send him a letter at that address "return receipt requested". It costs like an extra couple bucks to send a letter that way, and if it gets delivered to him, you'll get a receipt back with his signature on it. I have sent letters that way when I wanted to be sure they got it, and it works great.

You honestly can't find out without employing a service to find out for you, such as a private investigator. However, you can send mail that requires signature confirmation. There are additional fees, but the letter needs to be signed for to confirm delivery. If someone else signs for him it is good enough to confirm he receives his mail there. There is also restricted delivery. Restricted delivery only allows the addressee to sign for it and the post office provides you with a green card that shows the signature of the addressee.

Send a certified letter, return receipt requested. Chances are, he will have no idea what it ism and out of curiosity will go to the Post Office to pick it up--and WHAM---when you get the green card back in the mail, you'll have your answer.

In the envelope, you may want to just stick in a little note that says, "Found ya'!"

Hire a private investigator.

The postal service won't (and legally can't) tell you anything.
