Women continue to menstruate until they have completed menopause. For women in America, the average age of menopause is 51. Menstruation will stop when you are pregnant, but will return after the baby is born. There are some medical reasons not to menstruate, but these are uncommon and require medical attention. There is a birth control method that results in only 4 periods a year. Speak to your doctor about this. Otherwise, it is just part of being a woman to have a menstrual period and you'll have to deal with it.

I don´t know if I understand you well.
If your menstruation is going on for more than 8 or 9 days you should see a doctor, because normally it lasts around 4 or 5 days. You might suffer from a hormonal problem.
But if you ask us how to stop you menstruation for ever = never have it again... well, babe, it´s normal for a women to have it. It´s also important to have it. It´s a sign of being fertile and being a woman. many women suffer a lot when they "loose" their menstruation as they loose the posibilty of getting pregnant in a natural way and they think that they are no longer a real women and maybo no longer atractive for a husband...

I only grew to become 18 and that i might think of it became very strange and pedophilish if considered one of my friends, or maybe myself, enjoyed a 13 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. they have very distinctive adulthood ranges and distinctive social family members, and surely a distinctive mentality whilst it contains intercourse. don't be naive or something, adult adult males like that would trick you, i might get out of the relationship and attempt to discover somebody your guy or woman age, or greater beneficial yet, only have relaxing and enjoy your formative years collectively as you nevertheless have one. This guy may well be warm yet he's not the only warm guy interior the international and he seems a sprint suspicious, yet you will possibly be able to desire to consistently be friends. perhaps it is okay thus far... yet a minimum of do only not do something sexual.

It is a natural process and it is unnatural to stop it. However, you should talk with your parents and your doctor about several birth control methods that are available that will either reduce the number of periods you have (usually to only 4 per year) or will stop it completely.

The Depo-vera shot 9 times out of 10 will stop your period. Ask your doctor about it. It's not natural though for any 17 year old to not have her period. Why would you want to stop this process is beyond me.

OK my first question would be why would you want to stop it in the first place. But because you can't answer that I would say the depo shot can help you its a form of Birth control. but it can take your menstruation away. If you want but you will need to talk to a parent before doing anything like that. so my answer for you is to talk to a parent explain why you want to do this and see if they wont help you by letting you start the shots.

There are some new birth control pills that keep you from having a period. I don't know the name. If you are taking them anyway then perhaps the doctor change your prescription.
The only other way to stop it without being pregnant is to be EXTREMELY athletic so that you have very low body fat.

well not sure why you want to stop it? Menstration (use your spell check button its right there!)
Some birth control methods will stop it completely. Like the lil tubes (i forget what their called as i would never use them) that get put in your arm. Otherwise BC pills can sometimes stop it or make it shorter like only 3 days long.
