Does the media portray the american society acuratelly, or it is largely exagerrated?

Premarital sex, teenage pregnancies, uncommited relationships, high depression rates, family desintegration, shallow friendships, sick humor, idolatry of shallow and not talented people, obsession with buying stuff, egotism and so on and so forth...
Are this just a small percentage of the American reality, or the morals of this society are really that low?

The media portrays the worst of America, and this is what people in other nations see. They see our politicians marching in the "Gay Pride" parade. They see programs about drugs, and how prevalent they are.

When I was in Baghdad, one of my Iraqi friends asked me why do American women kill their unborn babies. He said that the Iraqis couldn't understand this. I told him that there are a lot of people in the US that are opposed to this, and other things he sees on TV. We are in the middle of a culture war.

The Iraqis couldn't understand the political correctness of "holiday parties", rather than Christmas parties. We had a Christmas party in Iraq, and the Muslims had a good time too.

The media is making us hated all around the world. Even in this country, look at how Christians, gun owners and anti-abortion people are portrayed. Now imagine the job they are doing on us overseas.

because of the fact the mainstream Liberal media hate usa. rfile the certainty! The liberal media purely rfile their perspectives and evaluations no longer the information. this is the reason Fox is mopping the floor with them in the rankings conflict. Too humorous.
