It's a shame we are not more like the French, protective and proud of their country and traditions.

Of course Tony Bliar will be feathering his nest for his few (not one)cosy, high paying, 'hardly ever have to be in the office' jobs which I am sure we will still be subisidising in one way or another (achieved though his knowledge of how to gain government subsidies for outside businesses!).

Of course he is.One of the prerequisites of being a member of the Hog Pen is the ability to ignore the public and think only of your self (financial) gratification and future glory.A tax free pension for life plus some type of title to boost his ego( probably a Sainthood) and an advisory position with the Mafia,he,ll be well away. Then we get Brown.God forbid!

He doesn't need to do that - his pension is sorted. No he's getting ready to make a killing on the lecture circuit - giving lessons in disingenuity.

Clever him. If he can do it, why not? Everyone has to have a future.
Wouldn't you do it?
Would you really think of the tax-payer if you had the opportunity?
He's hardly going to line up at the benefits office or go work in B&Q is he??

I think that Mr. Blair will surprise you again. He will certainly not be an M.E.P. - he'll set his sights much higher than that. And good for him!
