To burn Cd's you can use any cd ripper, usually the come with an interface to burn CD's.I use Nero to burn CD's. To burn DVD's is a bit trickier. I used to use first a program called DVD decrypter, which converts the movie to a TS file. From there I'd use a program called DVD shrink, which is compatible with Nero. This program is no longer legal and the guy who made it was forced to take it down and close his website, although there's hope the he might release the sourcecode. You can try and find it at different websites, but be patient, since the program is no longer legal ;)
