Luke & Han fired the shots that saved the rebellion (Luke shot the Death Star & Han shot Vader's wingman, which allowed Luke to fire the money shot), while Chewbacca was just the co-pilot. No one seems mad that Wedge didn't get a medal, & he got shot!

I always wondered the same thing. Not fair. But Chewie wasn't a PILOT, maybe only the pilots got medals? Granted, the Falcon wouldn't fly without him, but I don't know. Maybe Leia couldn't reach up high enough to get it over his head...

i always figured they chewy a nice selection of virgins to defile cause its against wookie religion to accept medals form non wookies
