my best friend gave me a neckless but it nothing i would wearing should i tell her that i don't like it or just forget about and not wear it what should i do help

you should thank her for getting it for you and that she thought about you. You don't have to wear just keep it a cherish it as a gift from your best friend.

well dear...it is the thought that counts as cliched as it sounds...well if it is not really to your taste...just keep it somewhere...but maybe you could wear the necklace once or twice if you are out with her or something...like for me my best friend gave me a bracelet once which wasnt really to my taste as well....i dun wear it when i go out but when I am with her, i wore 2 or 3 times...though i am fashion-conscious, i dun care if the bracelet doesnt match with my outfit or whatever when I am wearing it out with my best friend...i just think of it as hey, a quirky bracelet adds a touch of quirkiness to my outfit...haha...i just psycho myself a little cos i cannot bear the thought of hurting her feelings over a bracelet..it is just a material thing, friendship is more important...anyways, remember the present was bought out of her love for you..she remembered and thought of you and bought it for you...i mean doesnt that thought like bring a smile to your face?what if it were you in her position, if she told you to your face she doesnt really fancy the present...how would you feel and what would you do?think about it...these are just some harmless little acts which will not really hurt so no biggie...i am not one to lie to my best friend i will always give her my honest opinions about situations that really MATTER that she is in yadda yadda but this is just one of the little white lies i told her that i like the bracelet...if it makes her happy why not?it is just a bracelet...the memories, secrets shared, the way you understand each other are far far more precious....no use ruining it with hurting her feelings over telling her it is not nice...if you dun wanna wear it out with your best friend not around you...it is ok....wear it around her...just psycho yourself a little over wearing the necklace...it doesnt hurt really....anyway just my two cents worth...

if she is your best friend you should at least wear it around her.....but then again only you know her...how would she take it if you told her?

just tell her the truth and say that you dont really like it, but dont forget to add that you're happy that she cares..
