Yes, depending upon where you are downtown, take the the Powell or Mason street cable cars.

if u are on market street, i will recommand u to take a F line.
it is an old-fashioned cable car, and it is not crowed!

the cable car on powell/ 5th street @market street is a must- have experience, but there are many peopel standing in line.

i will say, check the cable car first to see how long u need to wait. if u don't want to wait, take the F
