I actually met her first and we were best friends but she was too young and wild. She intoduced me to her sister we married shot gun wedding had a ooops. Now my ex sisterin law is lonely keeps finding jerks, I keep suggesting we should go out and give it a shot but she refuses saying I'am to close to family. Whats a guy to do?

You need to get out more and stop sniffing around your "ex sister in law". There are plenty of fish in the sea, and besides, if you really cared about her - why on earth would you ask her to betray her sister like that? and what about your kids? if you two should get married - will she still be auntie? or will she be called mama? nope. too jerry springerish.

it's not consanguinity, but do you have any idea how much trouble she would be in if she dated you? I bet your stock isn't too good with teh family- you knocked up her sister and then, for whatever reason, the marriage ended. It's not just betraying her sister, it's having the bad taste to date a guy with a bad record- and no mother likes that. You don't say how long the divorce has been, if it's been at all recent, then she'll catch hell for being the reason the marraige ended.

It's no-win for her. Just take your hormones somewhere else.
