The movie takes place somewhere in South America. The movie came out last year 2006 and it has to do with the disappearence of a man by I believe some tribe. Again it is based on true events.

I believe the movie you're talking about is End of the Spear. It is a true story about five missionaries in South America. It deals with their disappearance. It's a really good movie. I definitely recommend it. Hope this helps.
