Good question. I see it this way. Chances come, and in respect to what choices you make, they go. You know? Like, when you graduate high school you have the chance to go to college, work, get married, travel. What you choose is what you want. The other "chances" go....

I think you're confusing opportunities with free will.
Opportunities often come only, "once in a lifetime". But you CAN always do anything. Even if you try and go back to the person or place and fix or repair a missed opportunity.
The most missed opportunities are matters of the heart. Those are the ones in which the rewards are often far greater than the risk.

We all make thousands of decisions every day of our life. Our chances, therefore, are endless. The decisions that seem momentous are in the minority, by far. But the chances we take that change our lives may be visible to us only in hindsight. Since we can never go back, there is no point to regret. As long as we are pointed in the right direction, all we have to do is move forward.

no you cant do anything .you can not cut your head off and then sew it back on and live .many times chances come in whys that are not apparent until years latter we look back and see were we could have should have but did not .
