I have the prefect job for you!
Someone close to me is a financial researcher at an investment firm. She works with both finance and light computer programming (I'm not sure of the details but it has something to do with tracking down millions of misplaced dollars).
The pay is good and the hours are NOT like that of an investment banker.

Well this combination of degrees is rare to find, and particularly now adays, demand for people with a strong knowledge of IT and Finance has increased in Banks, as banks are moving towards automation of their lending activities. With the central banks pressing hard on the banks to adopt the Basel II Framework, which requires a lot of automation, and statistical experience, i would suggest you to get a job in Risk Management Unit of a Commercial Bank, and try to get involved in Basel II implementation. I am sure this would interest you a lot.

Become a commercial loan officer at a major bank. Decent pay, you get every holiday known to man and you typically don't work after 6pm and never on the weekends. Customers are interesting as you get to deal with different type customers in different industries. Also, be ready to excel in politics. Banks are tough from a political standpoint. Lots of positioning going on behind the scenes.
