Not as such...it has moved on a little since the fifties.
Knowledge is too readily available for it to be properly hidden from us. The process now is to discredit everything that does not suit the purpose.
Have you noticed that everyone who questions any government approved account is a 'conspiracy theorist'?
Have you noticed how everyone who believes in the protection of a weak minority from a powerful majority has caught 'political correctness' and gone mad?
In order to pursue truth you need something that comfort and contentment remove from us...it is called courage.

It's not just limited to the UK, it has to do with the forces behind the scene that essentially "run the world". Read Ralph Epperson's "The Unseen Hand" and "New World Order" also Michael Ruppert's "Crossing The Rubicon". The latter pretty much deals with our dwindling oil reserves and the 9/11 attacks.
FYI-there is an organization called CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) which is made up of business and industry leaders, the media and government from all over the world. They, in connection with the Tri-Lateral commission and the Bilderberg Society are in the process of implementing global solutions to global problems. What most people don't realize is, that eventually, according to one Professor I heard, "the rich will have no need of the poor". Which means they are going to have to eliminate 80% of the worlds population. So if someones trying to keep people from knowing something, that's the something. Realize also, that all of this has been prophesied in the scriptures.

of course mate. wont go into why the war is about oil n money ,we all know the facts!?! i got bounced off chatroom last week 4 slagging t. blair! george michaels walking the dog says it all and he was slatted for it...wonder why. why watch big brother if its allready here? as billy connoly said "the fact that you want 2 b a politition should exlude you from being one"? take care.
