Merci Beaucoup

you would have to specify what approximate shape your lot looks like and where it is you reference your measurements form in order to solve this problem.

Can you split the shape into normal shapes like triangles and a rectangles? My assumption is that it looks like this...

-------208--------------------------------
\ |
\ 180
\ |
236 |
\ ________139____________|
\ 32
\|

If that is the case it is...
Triangle part is 1/2*b*h = 1/2 *(180+32)*(208-139) = 1/2*212*69
= 7,314 sq. ft.

Rectangle part is L*W = 139*180 = 25,020 sq. ft

So, 7,314 + 25,020 = 32,334 sq. ft TOTAL

If the lot shape is different, you get the idea and should be able to figure it out.

Well, the picture came out like crap, but I'm guessing you understand the method.

Oh yeah, the ACREAGE... 1 acre is = 43559.66 sq. ft.
So...32,334 sq. ft. comes out roughly to 0.74 or almost 3/4 of an acre.

As was previously stated, the area cannot be calculated without some additional information. Are the dimensions you included the sides of the property in order?

You might also be better off downloading an evaluation copy of some GIS (Geographic Information System) software and entering the property dimensions into that. It will give you the correct area to whatever level or precision you request.

Draw out your lot on a piece of paper and section it off into shapes that are regular. Find the areas of all of those, then add them up.
