When you buy a new one, there should be a recycle bag in the package for your old one to be recycled. It has a mailing address and prepaid postage on it to mail it to a recycling center.

If you don't have a bag like that, then you should be able to just take it to your local recycling center.

Seems I answer this question every other week.

Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples will all take your empty cartridges.

You can either refill them (at least at Office Max and some Walgreens) for a low price, or just straight out "donate" them to the recycle boxes.

Usually there's a bonus, like $1-$3 dollars off coupon for future purchase, sometimes a ream of copier paper, depending on the company.

You can take them to Office Depot. They will recycle them, and with certain brands, will give you a few dollars off your next toner purchase. Other office supply stores might have similar policies, but I usually use Office Depot.
