IT is simple Nancy Pelosi and most of the Democrats today are total socialists. They believe that the state is the highest power and that the people exist to serve the state. That is why the liberals hate Christianity because religion has GOD as the ultimate authority figure not the state. Back in the 30's the head of the American Socialist party said these prophetic words "Through the guise of Liberalism Socialism will creep into the every day lives of Americans until one day America will wake up a Socialist nation and wonder how it happened." Socialisim is nothing more than three wolves and a sheep voting on whats for dinner that evening. Mob rule nothing more.

The last time "the rich" were taxed that high was during The Depression, see how much that helped? Nancy Pelosi is no brain, but even she isn't THAT stupid.

I think that 80% is quite an exaggeration, but I do believe the rich should definitely pay their fair share, and since they control the lions share of the money and resources, they should pay accordingly. It is time for them to stop getting away with all the tax breaks and phony shelters and subsidies, and corporate welfare, and so on, while most of the burden is put on the rest of us. Anyone who actually believes that the rich pay the most in taxes in sadly misinformed, and delusional!!!!!

I've listened to and read up on Nancy Pelosi and haven't seen or heard anywhere that she has espoused this policy. So no I don't agree.

No. That is the anithesis of freedom. Freedom includes the freedom to control your own money. Nobody has a right to steal the money you've rightfully earned, no matter their good intentions. Forcing one person to work for another person's benefit is called slavery. It doesn't matter if the person that is enslaved is rich or poor, it is still wrong.

If you are not even free to use your own money, how can you live in a free country? If they steal your freedom to use your money, which freedom will they steal next?

If you believe in freedom, then fight for it. But you must fight for the freedom of the rich as well as the poor. Freedom belongs to everyone.

While she used powerful words in accepting the Speaker’s gavel that wrapped herself in the flag of God-fearing American patriotism, her deeds of the past speak far louder. Pelosi is pro-homosexual marriage, pro-abortion, even pro-partial birth abortion. She has voted against tax cuts, against the Patriot Act, against allowing the words “under God” to remain in the pledge of allegiance, and against allowing public displays of the Ten Commandments. She has voted against stopping illegal immigration. And Pelosi has worked to undermine traditional marriage, even by voting against the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996.
Pelosi closed her acceptance speech with a phrase associated with the Communitarian Network when she said, “Let us all stand together to move our country forward, seeking common ground for the common good.” The Communitarian Network is a self-described “coalition of individuals and organizations who have come together to shore up the social, moral and political environment…a nonpartisan, nonsectarian, transnational association

Equal percentage taxation for all is the only way. How can she supposedly be about fairness and equality, when she supports a 'Robin Hood' style of taxation and goernment handouts to the lazy???

If we didn't have "the rich," who would pay the taxes?

She is a dangerous woman.

She didn't say that, so your question is invalid.

To answer your question, I would not agree with that.
