What are some dominant high school football and basketball powerhouses? I wanna know about schools that are very strong at both sports. Who are some notable alumni of those schools?

Canton McKinley in Ohio has had a movie made about its football rivalry with Massilon, and they are usually ranked in the top 25 in the country in both sports. I know both teams have ended the year at least once being ranked the highest team in the country.

As a WR, you'll be asked to do two things; run routes to catch passes, or block downfield for your team's running backs. You'll either stand even with the line of scrimmage (tight end if you're up next to the linemen or split end if you're split out on your own) or will be back 2-3 yards (wing if you're right close to a lineman, or flanker if you're split out). From there, you'll be asked to run out 5 or 7 or maybe 10 yards, then break a certain direction and turn to look for the ball. The distances will vary greatly, but run the EXACT distances you're asked to, as getting sloppy on route-running can kill the timing of a whole offense. Always assume the ball is going to come to you on a passing play, so you'll be mentally ready for it. Look the ball into your hands, as a dropped ball does no one any good. THEN you can worry about making a move or turning on the jets. Most of all, be fearless. Go across the middle and worry about catching the ball, not about a big hit from a defensive back that might never come.
