It sounds like someone removed the old windows before having the replacements on site. The best advise I could give you would be to make sure the plastic on the exterior is secure with no gaps. Then, do the same thing on the interior by adding a layer of plastic. This will cause a dividing air space between the inside and outside. You should feel the difference right away.

Aside from the Plastic you already put up you can use a clay like material to fill in any holes that may be causing drafts. Take a lit candle and move it around the windows to see where you may have a draft. Then do your best to stop it. Heavier drapes will help some or even blankets over the windows.

I would use an electric heater over a kerosene heater. And wear more layers. If you have a fire place, keep a fire going. And drink warm drinks.

You could also buy a wood pellet stove and have it installed. They only have to vent it out the wall and provide it great heat.

Grins! curiously adequate, an analogous subject handed off with my spouse and that i a dozen years in the past or so, and the "ex" in question remains with us, and shares our mattress usually. in certainty, we evaluate ourselves a triad rather than couples. i think of it must be properly worth speaking very heavily with regards to the assumption with your hubby first, and the girl in question 2d. in case you will possibly evaluate inviting her to be an equivalent companion, then it rather is definitiely something to contemplate. purely a be conscious: the form of courting we've demands massive quantities of verbal substitute, and a persevering with abiding sensativity to any jealousy, and harm thoughts. it rather is have been given some terrific reward, too, of direction, yet I merely needed to grant you with a warning that it's not all peaches and cream.

How about a wood burning stove...They are very efficient and quite easy t install using your existing chimney or run a exahust pipe through the wall and straight up.there is special pipe for that but it is well worth it.I have a stove that nearly eliminates all need for gas heat..
