Err nope !! its sung by Diana Ross and the Supremes.
' my love is strong you see,
I know you'll never get tired of me, ooh baby.....oooh baaby
Now I'm gonna use every trick in the book.
I'll try my best to get you hooked ooh baby.... oooh baaby
And every night, every day, I'm gonna say..
I'm gonna get ya, Im gonna get ya
Look out boy, coz I'm gonna get ya
I'm gonna make you love me....oooh yes I will, yes I will.

the song is about a woman who loves a man but he doesn't feel the same but she's not gonna give up. she's going after what she wants and she'll make him fall in love with her no matter what.

a song can be heard in a variety of ways; words can be switched around - man to woman and vise-versa - to fit the singer and the singer's gender.

In the era it was written and performed, the drug could've been used since the 60s and so on were the time of free love and peace.

Maybe find some articles on the song and hidden meanings written by other fans. Just type in the article and the word 'reviews' and u should get something.
