My male cat used to. He actually was so manic that he attacked me twice. Really bad too. Did nerve damage in my hand and my foot. Ended up in the hospital for over a week. They thought I would lose my foot. Make sure you don't let your cat bite even if she's just playing.

No. Domestic cats don't usually attack people unless provoked. There's a Malayan folklore about Aswangs (shape-shifters) taking the form of cats or dogs but I don't think they are known to actually jump and bite. I don't think it was an Aswang you had an encounter with (or did you just dream it? whatever). Also, I don't think it will make a Catgirl out of you. I'm worried it might be rabid. Get your tetanus and rabies shots if I were you.

I've had cats in the past and I thought it was normal. One minute sitting on your lap nice and the next biting and scratching you. I think they are just playing.

I'd lower your hourly doses of cat nip to about once a day, that might help.

my cats rarely try to bite. when they are playing roughly maybe, or are defending themselves/feel threatened.
