First of all clear in ur mind that maths is not only calculation it is part of it.
The simplest way is to create ur interest in it by solving the questions in ur text book not only by solving but most important is by seeing its application in different area.Via net or by friends or by teachers etc...

Implement this first step i will let u know second in our next meeting till then realize maths...

Mathematics is the body of knowledge centered on concepts such as quantity, structure, space, and change, and also the academic discipline which studies them.

the above would be the Wikipedia definition of mathematics, which as you may see broadens mathematics in most every sense.
I may well be biased but I take mathematics to be more philosophical, with greater abstraction and the applications are wonderful but only upto the point when neccessity threatens to overrule curiosity.
Maths is the study of quantity, structure, space and change. It developed, through the use of abstraction and logical reasoning, from counting, calculation, measurement, and the study of the shapes and motions of
mathematics: a science (or group of related sciences) dealing with the logic of quantity and shape and arrangement
physical objects.

SOME USE FULL TIPS

1. The first thing to do is to try to read as much math as
possible. You will have to figure out the level where you are
now. Don't try to jump ahead too fast.

2. Solve problems! If you are in a math class, solve extra
problems that they do not assign to you. If you are trying to
learn on your own, try to solve every problem in the book
(yeah, it sounds crazy, but it works).

3. Try to relate the math you are learning to your everyday life,
if you can. This will help make the subject more intereresting
to you.

4. When you study math, find a quiet place, get rid of the
distractions, and tune everything out.

5. Never, ever get discouraged. Math takes time, patience and
diligence. Hard work too. But genius is not required

You should devote a few hours(at least 2 hour) daily for mathematics. Day wise distribution of the chapters will be very beneficial to you-
Chapter-1= Monday morning, Chapter-3 Monday evening
Chapter-2 Tuesday morning,Ch-4 Tuesday evening.......
Stick to your textbook; but if you find it too dull to even flip through the pages, you should opt for some other equivalent book which you can follow. You can also get help from your friends; try to find out how your classmates deal with the subject, and then make an attempt to approach it.
I believe that such an approach will yield good "result"..
All d Best for your exam..
