Genital warts are hyperplastic, sometimes pedunculated lesions of the skin or mucous membranes of the genitals caused by human papillomaviruses (HPVs). Some HPV types cause flat endocervical or anal lesions that are precancerous. Diagnosis is clinical. Multiple treatments exist, but few are highly effective. Genital warts may resolve without treatment in immunocompetent patients but may persist and spread in patients with decreased cell-mediated immunity (eg, HIV infection).
Although treatments can get rid of the warts, they do not get rid of the HPV virus, so warts can recur after treatment. The body's immune system typically clears the virus anywhere from 6 months to two years, but it occasionally remains in the body for a lifetime.
Please see the web pages for more details on Genital warts and Imiquimod (generic name) Aldara (brand name).

After the refill, if they haven't gone away---have your Dr. send you to a specialist. There are several different strains of genital warts...and make sure you don't screw up with the timing of your medication, which would make the strain that you have more resistant to the aldara. The aldara might not work on this strain. I hope your condition clears up asap. Remember, the STD is with you for life and you may always have a reoccurance.

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about five years ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I realize lots of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/zR7Vo everything changed.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

For this type of warts the treatment consists of mainly destroying the wart chemically.electrically or surgically. The exact mode of treatment depends on the site, nature and number of lesions. There is no need for systemic therapy. The warts my sometimes disappear spontaneously or by psychotherapy.

How did u get warts on ur anus, is my question. I f u r having sex with the same partner and they haven't been treated, they will not go away. Lay off the sex for a while, and give them time to heal.

Go get them lasered off.

Seriously, tell him you want them lasered off. It's just a wart, it'll turn black and fall off. Better than the oozing and bleeding, eh?

They will never go away. They will get better and become less irritated over time, but they will never go away.
