Being a Calif resident I must applaud the Gov for taking on an issue that is so very important. In fact I would go farther and say all Americans deserve health care. Having said that I am concerned about how this will be financed. Being a good Democrat I fully understand that projects such as this will require a tax increase somewhere. No country who has healthcare does it without utilizing taxation. If we are willing to endorse this project then we should also be willing to absorb the cost

Yep, Arnie is a socialist masquerading as a Republican. Of course, with free-spending George W. in the Oval Office, he's got a solid act to follow. But this doesn't represent true Republican principles any more than the war in Iraq.

I'd be happy with a Republican party absent George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, and Arnold Schwarzeneggar.

Most of us don't consider him an actual Republican.

I hope he knows this will cost California a minimum of about 10 billion dollars.

This will cause at least 1 million of the state's highest earners to vacate leaving a huge economic vacuum.

California simply can't afford to pay for this and the welfare of illegals for much longer.

Nothing good about that.

Yes and this includes illegal immigrant children as well. Glad that is Californias issue. I sure wouldn't want to pay for it. What will their new tax rate be? Illinois wants to have healthcare for everyone and charge it to business. Think business will stay in our state for long?
