It was a movie called Bluebird or The Bluebird andt had Elizabeth Taylor in it. The only thing I remember is a brother and sister are in a house where all the things start coming to life, like the dog, cat, fire, water and milk. Everyone I ask has never heard of it, does anyone else know of it and maybe know where I can buy it?

I did a movie biography search for Elizabeth Taylor, nothing like Bluebird listed anywhere. Are you sure you have the right actress?

You were right. The name of the movie is "The Blue Bird". It came out in 1976. Here is the plot:
A pair of peasant children, Mytyl and her brother Tyltyl, are led on a magical quest for the fabulous Blue Bird of Happiness by the Fairy Berylune. On their journey, they are accompanied by the humanized presences of a Dog, a Cat, Light, Fire, Bread, and other entities.

Its called the Blue bird and was made in 1976, I saw it as a kid as well. I'd recomend looking for it on ebay or at a media store they might have it.
