Don't take the bait. If he is what you said then you certainly won't enjoy having to deal with him.

You have the answer in your question: Don't go out with him. You have learned that he is a jerk, and he has anger issues. Then you are better off staying away. (Especially because of the anger issues).

The last thing you want is to get into a relationship (other than mere friendship) with someone who is emotionally unstable and can't control his anger. Save yourself now, before you become a victim of domestic violence in the future.

To be honest with you, you can't really base your decision rather to date a guy or not on people like us who don't really know anything about it, but if you want my honest opinion why not give it a shot? Since you have been waiting on this guy since forever. Yes all guys are jerks at times and we all do have anger issues, he does deserve a chance if you think so. Not every guy is perfect there is no such thing as a knight in shining armour or prince charming. As long as the guy is sweet to you, doesn't flirt with other girls, is more concern about you than himself, and would do anything for you then he seems like a great guy to me.

If he's kinda a jerk now, it's doubtful he would improve if you were dating him. Anger issues??? A huge NO! That anger will be directed somewhere, and how do you know he will never aim it at you? It's not worth the risk! Get him a date with an anger management specialist.

May be you are exaggerating about his anger and him being a jerk. You were ready for him 5 months ago. He wasn't for you then. The only difference it has made is that you are no longer available.

Love is about waiting and not punishing for making you to wait.

Go for it but don't let him know that you were ready for the last many months.

If you're saying he's a jerk and has anger issues you don't need to be getting involved with him. You say no and continue to be his friend. Perhaps refer him to your local center that offers anger management classes.

If he has anger issues and is kind of a jerk, why would you bother saying yes?

Sounds like you want to say no..the "anger issues" is a big indicator. That is not something that gets better with time, only worse.

Well, the best time in a relationship is the initial togetherness before you realize your partner is not all they're cracked up to be. You already went through that, and haven't even started dating yet. My advice would be steer clear.

No, just stay friends. If he has anger issues, then you never know what he could do to you. Don't put yourself in that position.
